The aim of this qualification is for you to gain the skills, knowledge and competence required to administer emergency first aid and for you to recognise and manage illness and injury in the workplace.
This includes being able to assess, diagnose and treat casualties prior to the attendance of medically trained staff. This course is suitable for all school staff, both Teachers and Support Staff. HSE, DFE and Ofsted compliant.

Requirements
There are no prerequisites for this qualification.
How long will my qualification be valid for?
The qualification will be valid for 3 years, although the HSE recommends that first aiders attend annual refresher training to help maintain basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to first aid procedures.

Accreditation
On achieving this qualification, your nationally recognised certificate will be processed. On certification, you will gain a HSE endorsed and Ofqual regulated qualification.
